Is it possible for a 2 year old to really love a sport? Well, if I ever had any doubts I don't now. Quinn got a new golf club ~ a real golf club ~ and it was love at first sight. With a hitting mat, rubber tee, real golf balls (instead of the nurf ones he hits inside the house) and a real driver he is in heaven! This is the ONLY thing my son wants to do all day every day! He can usually convince daddy or Papa to take him outside to hit a few (or more than a few!) balls.

I'm spending some time catching up on editing the MANY photos I have taken since Quinn was born. It is amazing to see how much he has grown {and how far I have come in my photography!} There is nothing more precious than remembering all the little moments of his life and I am so incredibly grateful that I have them all forever in photos. I can't believe he is already two years old with a little brother on the way soon.
Don't let time get away from you. It is not always about the big moments like birthdays and holidays. Snap some photos of the everyday things your kids do. It won't be long before the blankets and pacifiers go away. The cute little baby hair that all too soon becomes a big boy hair cut. The toothless grins that turn into a mouth full of teeth and the crawling baby that suddenly won't stay still for a single photo! You don't have to be a pro to capture these moments. Take some time to sit back and enjoy today!
What a sweet surprise for me when I stumbled upon the image below today. It is my little man at the pumpkin patch last year. And who is that in the mirror? Yep, it's mommy doing what she does...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!! My little man is a blue monster this year. At first he wanted nothing to do with this costume but as soon as he discovered that he could ham it up in front of the mirror in his costume, he was on board. This is not daddy's first choice of costumes but Quinn is so darn cute in it that he can't help but love it anyway. My sister brought her dog Lola over in her ladybug costume today. Both characters cooperated for a photo! Have a happy and safe day.
Trick or Treat!

We took our little guy to the pumpkin patch this weekend. I had timed it perfectly to get the best light of the day. It was only after we got there that I discovered that my camera battery had died! After a quick dash home {well, not quite so quick} I did get a few shots of Quinn riding on the pony at the little pumpkin patch. I was pretty sure he would scream and howl in fear, but he surprised us all with his smiles as he rode on the pony. My beautiful light went away too fast. We'll take another trip there this week.
Lesson learned? Buy an extra camera battery and keep it charged and with me at all times!

And what would a pumpkin patch in Florida be without a nice palm tree in the background of a photo?
